Trucking in the snow 2010-12-09 A725-M74

Trucking in the snow 9th December 2010. Coming down onto the A725 from the M8 down past Bellshill down the hill onto the M74. There was a jack-knifed lorry at the bottom of the M73 blocking the whold motorway so couldn't go that way.

There is still packed snow and abandoned vehicles on the A725 and M74
I'm carrying about 24-25 tonnes of soft drinks which puts me up to about 41 tonnes gross weight but at 8:20 after stopping at the traffic lights for the A725-M74 roundabout, even though I have plenty of weight over the rear axle, it's still a lot of weight to move and it struggles to get grip on the ice to get going again

Just watched both your vids where you got stuck. Videos are excellent. Is this one the day after? I abandoned my car in Castlemilk after a 4 hour journey which normally takes 25 minutes. It was the Thursday before I got it back.
