  • the iphone 3g could run tiny windows 7 (slimed) because it can use up to 70 mb of ram and iphone 3g has 126 ish mb of ram

  • You have very small hands.

  • waste of time for u & me...

  • iBoot is real for iOS devices, but when you select your OS, the touch screen dont work.

  • @JakesTechBox Though windows would be running under emulation. the full windows (up until the up and coming version 8) os has never supported anything other than x86 32 or 64 bit cpus and the iPhone uses a modified version of the ARM Cortex A9. And @CPPTutorialsCPP, the iPhone 3GS and 4 could run XP under emulation because both have enough RAM, 3GS would be painful though. The 3GS has 256 MB and the 4 has 512 MB along with a 1 GHz CPU.

  • i don't think so ,, that's obviously fake

  • Hey, nice try, but this is obviously fake. The iPhone struggles to run Windows 3.1 at a decent speed, forget about XP ever running on it!

Firstly, you don't tap on an icon whilst in OpeniBoot. This is the boot sequence we're talking about, where the touch-screen hasn't been initialised by the boot up process yet.

Second, choosing (or in this case, tapping) the Console icon in OpeniBoot should merely open a Terminal, where you would connect the phone via USB to a compatible computer and send...

  • ...commands to it. The BSOD is also fake. The BSOD used in this video is from Windows 9.x OS, like Windows 98. Windows NT operating systems (such as Windows XP and Vista) use a new BSOD. Just type XP BSOD into Google Images. First result.

And there was no presence of any startup tasks. Not even anything in the notification tray. Everything was just there.

You can tell the sound is extrapolated from a real XP installation, because the Balloon sound can be heard just before the BSOD appears.

  • Overall this is a nice fake, but not nice enough. Sorry for the (painfully) long comment, but there was so many flaws I just had to point them out.

Sorry if my post seemed offensive in any way, shape or form - trust me, I was just trying to be helpful. If you make a new fake that's maybe a bit more realistic, I might be interested in getting it on my own iPod. And trust me - that ain't a lie.
