Weido so called "Christians" posting wierdo posts on here... Serving God is doing the right thing the right way and doing it to the best of our abilities with what we have. It doesn't always have to be in a church or at a Hillsong concert for it to be godly. As a matter of fact, I think more Christian singers need to take part in the mainstream music arena and make a difference by shining their light. Weirdo Christians go take drink a cup of coffee and take a hike.

@tellsplatte Strong words, and I share some of the frustration, but we've all got to follow Rom 2:1. I'm talking to anyone making negative comments. Even negative comments about people making negative comments. You're condenming yourself. God's words, not mine. Recall the bit about hiding your light under a bushel? I often think we hide our brightest lights in the confines of a church setting where the ones that really matter don't get to see it. I'm happy Brooke is out there.

@basura25 I think you need to get it in your head that "playing for God" is about your entire life, and not about whether you are connected to a religious group or religious band.

I believe her profession is music, and like any other profession that a Christian has, that profession is part of a greater calling.

Music is not only a ministry. It's a way to tell stories. I think in 'Flags' you'll find the story of a Christian woman and how she sees and experiences the world with other journeyers.

@qutlaw Music was created to worship God. It is a calling if you have the talent to sing and strong desire to do so. This desire was given by God. Let the heathen sing their own music - there is plenty of that around. Almost all christians who start to do non-christian music is because of the money, or fame.
