@ XCP0: agreed! i first wachted the german version, heared the joke and was like "wtf?", then i watched the english version and finally understood, poor thing that the german version can't translate such puns.
in the movie it means like Ketchup (the sauce) which sounds like Catch Up. Literally, when you say catch up to someone, it means that, for example, if you're walking, he's way behind you and you want him to walk/go faster. that's the best way I can explain.. haha :) got it? :)
After I heard the English version I finally understand the joke. First I saw the German synchronized version and in the German word pool there is only the word "Ketchup" for the sauce, I didn't got the idea that this might be a wordplay joke for the English "catch up" and I thought: "Where the hell is the punch line?". This joke appears in German so random and weird that because of this I really laughed myself to death. It was the non-funniness what made the joke in German so extremely funny.
It's what we call a 'pun'. In this case the little tomato is not walking as fast as the others. One of the bigger ones turns around, steps on the little one and says: "Catch Up!" Or if you spell it like the sauce you would make with a squashed tommato: "Ketchup". Think of a bottle of Heinz. :)
