Johnny gets on his soap box and takes a look at the state of intellectual property in the games industry. Warning: contains silliness.

  • @nukeclears indeed i did :)

  • @JoSeFHdz and stayed for the video!

  • @Bloodthr0e yep that's exactly why i love my PS3!!!

  • Who sings the song used in the lara croft clip? "everybody feels the sunshine"

  • Lets look at some of the titles for popular games in the 80's and early 90's: Super Mario Bros 2 Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Breath of Fire 2 Final Fantasy 2 Dragon Warrior 2 Golden Axe 2 Road Rash 2 Shinobi 2 Ninja Gaiden 2 Double Dragon 2 X-Men 2 Phantasy Star 2 Shining Force 2 Thunder Force 2 Mortal Kombat 2 Street Fighter 2 See where I'm going with this? My advice: quit the QQ and get a PS3 if you want new IP.
  • Dark Cloud 3 would actually be amazing.

Good games should be allowed to have sequels, but a good game doesn't have a sequel that's exactly the same.

  • i fucking loved mirrors edge... i wish they made a second or at least added a shit load of new

    missions

  • Some of the reboots I like....But i do understand what he is saying. I tend to get bored of the same old MW or BF i know it makes money but i feel like gaming now is more about the money then the enjoyment and risks of making a game. Heck in the 80's and 90's that's when some of these title made it big without really knowing if they were going to do well. I like Indie games because of that they don't really have much to lose when making a game. Maybe when the economy gets back to its feet.:)

  • @smilegeek123 if you knew anything of history you'd know that would be a bad idea..
