Benelli Supernova Review

Great review. I'm in the market for a pump. I am going Benelli. That I'm sure of. What I'm not sure is which Benelli. It's come down to the nova pump and supernova as there in my price range. I know the differences. But Is the recoil a lot less in the supernova? I'll be using it for 3 gun comps. And skeet shooting. I'm not worried about it hurting my shoulder but more so affecting my follow shot. How would you compare the two's recoil?

@cblt2007 Its really tough to say. Ive only shot the nova 20 gauge, while my supernova is a 12 gauge so I can't really give you answer. The comfortech stock on the Supernova is great though and the recoil on the Supernova is less than any ive felt with any other 12 ga.

after looking at the 887 in person at the gun shop compared to the Super Nova.......the choice was much much easier. (Max4 camo $534) The Benelli felt and looked much better. The Remington really looks like a child slapped it together? hate to say that as a Remington fan.

I've been doing some research for almost a month now on which shotgun to buy. and found some flaws on almost all shotguns. its either feeding issue, jams, mechanics not in place, etc etc. the Benelli SN interest me the most out of any other pump action shotgun. But found too many reviews about it having feeding issues. whereas the rounds would eject back out from the bottom of the shell entry port or whatever you call it. I was hoping to get some honest feed back on your part! thanks for sharing

i've heard mix feelings about his gun...is it hard to hit things with, like is a good accurate gun when shooting normal cartridges? is it very accurate when shooting slugs?

Express and wingmaster have the same action I have two and a supernova and the difference in smoothness isn't noticable i prefer the 870
