Obama Protest in Charlotte, NC 2010

I was working a few buildings down from where President Obama was speaking in Charlotte, NC on April 2nd. The protest was going on close by so i decided to grab my camcorder and film this on my lunch break. This is strictly a documentation of History. This is not an any way my view, opinion, or belief.

@jxh261 And the Stimulus Package was no help. It was taking money that we had and redistributing it in the same way that it was collected. Raising the debt ceiling has done nothing except continue reckless spending and make us think that things are fine and we can keep digging the hole only to have future generations fill it for us.

@jxh261 Really? lol okay....I don't remember seeing high unemployment rates, $3 gas, government shutdowns being threatened towards government workers all throughout Bush's term! I will say that Bush did not help the economy and possibly did ruin it just a little but look where we are now. Obama's Presidency has been focused on 3 things:

1. Universal Healthcare

2. Libya and the Afghan/Iraq Wars

3. Golfing and major vacation time on taxpayer dollars

Where were the protests when gas prices were over 4 bucks in Charlotte and elsewhere in this country and "Big Oil" gave press conferences and bragged about their "record breaking" profits? Where were the protests when the 787 billion dollar bank bailout was approved? I am not a fan of how things are going either in this country. However, it's seems that folks have short term memory when it comes to f*ckery and corruption at the hands of political leaders.
