I´m watching thousands of videos about hair transplants. There are thousands of clinics, doctors, offers, videos, pictures, web sites, testimonials, suggestions, comments, etc. How should I react to all this? I went to a clinic, they told not to think about a hair transplant yet. But, what am I supossed to when the time arrives? TOO MUCH INFORMATION!

@injertocapilar so, would you recommend Propecia as a cure for Androgenic Alopecia? Does it really cause erection problems in a long term? As for the transplants, when you brush the hair down it wants to stay up all the time. Do you have a video of a patient where he can brush the hair down and has a short hair cut?

@dstein111 first, you must stabilize your alopecia with medical treatment. After that, you must have a good evaluation to see if you are a good candidate. The problem with the thinning hair is the post op shock loss or telogen efluvium of the native hair.
You wrote to me once that even these now hair, they are still developing alopecia. Doe that mean the will suffer hair loss once again. If yes, then the transplant procedure is not worth going through.

@Trinder3467 No, the transplanted follicles don't have androgenetic receptors (AR) so they will no not be affected by androgens and will not fall down. The natives are those who can be affected.

Why do all the transplanted guys miss the temple hair? I'm actually asking. Every video, shows great hair and NO temple hair. Isn't that the whole reason why they get the hair treatment for?

@Trinder3467 We haven't enough donor site to repair everything we want. The size of the forehead does not make you bald. But the lack of hair on the top it will. Therefore each individual surgery is planned not only seeing the current needs but imagining how will be the patient in 20 years with a constantly evolving alopecia.
