  • 1 minor difference I saw was that rFactor did have the instant flash when coming out of the tunnel. They just instantly changed the brightness

  • @didickcheeseburger

It's alright though since you're right, most people will still never really know what a real F1 car is like. That's why they play these sims.

  • @didickcheeseburger Real F1 drivers use rFactor Pro. Which is made by the same people who made this "game". The RedBull sim is also an ISI project.

The reason why the professional version cost so much more than the commercial version is mostly because of hardware (big moving car body, curved projector screen, real steering wheel and pedals from spare parts of the actual cars, etc.) and logistics (laser surveying tracks near the actual race time for best accuracy, etc.)

  • looks like the one on the right is having a seizure.

  • The rFactor Character is having a seizure

  • @didickcheeseburger That's what I meant. I've seen F1 drivers practice with a Gmotor2 "game" from a pro F1 simulator. Even NASA has used it. And why would they not settle for a 100% sim or something closer to it than Codemasters arcade shit which you'll NEVER see in a professional simulation environment. And I'm quite sure the new tracks they practice are laser scanned to extreme accuracy.

  • @didickcheeseburger Can't help it if I prefer more realism, fuck off back to the arcade kid.

  • @Somai82 real f1 drivers use multi-million dollar simulators for real simulation. ive heard of drivers using video games to get used to a tracks layout and in such cases it doesnt need to be 100% "sim". they could use the codemasters game for that.

  • @blainyrules fucking "sim" whores think their video games are like driving a real f1 car when theyve never even sat in one. lol youll never know

  • @Schoentjee Fucking graphics whores and their shitty arcade-style F1 games...
