Initially I figured this would be a boring movie but couldn't have been more wrong. This film makes me cry just to think about and the very end showing the UN and their incompotence and sheer corruption makes me SICK... the massacre that is shown in this film is unbelievable at best and I pray that more people find this film and watch it. A definate must see. VERY sad, but a must see.

I can't believe the UN let them die there
fucking mandate what a load of bullshit, you let people die when you could have saved them

This looks exactly like Hotel Rwanda. Was Hotel Rwanda a remake or something?

@salvadory I see what you're saying, you were saying, ignoring orders, they should have help their ground in the school and kept up the impasse. I think I'd agree with that. I don't agree with them intervening in conflicts outside the gate, but I think the status quo could have been maintained doing what they were, particularly with back-up arriving soon, as it could have done

@trixwiz7 the slaughter of the people at the catholic church school- some 2000 people could have prevented by the 20 un troops there- the machete weilding crowd didnt dare enter aginst heavy machine gun and the un prescence- in bosnia a group of 5 un soldiers held off a crowd of 200 rmed men for 4 days until airstrikes- they didnt need to take on the whole country just protect their little areas- and with backup those machete fuckers would have moved on-

@salvadory Mate, I've already said I agree with that. The UN should be blamed from its top, not the bottom. You were also saying those UN troops already there should have said "Tally-ho" and taken on the whole country. That's what I think is unfair of you to say. If they'd done that, a whole heap more people would have died
-
@trixwiz7 hundreds of heavily armed un troops could have been deployed within 24 hours - even the un admits this- machetes versus machine guns you do the math- the un failed miserably- end of story-

@salvadory Don't be ridiculous. Saying that from behind your keyboard. I agree the UN should have launched an ad hoc intervention taskforce. But what do you suppose would have happened if a few soldiers tried to take on villages and villages. Instead of 13 dead soldiers, they all would have been killed. Those who they were protecting wouldn't have had that protection and would have died too. So what precisely would have been gained by doing something so reckless? Nothing
Things like this when they happen are sad prove of how monumental evil mankind can do. But as always - the honourable and brave attitude of some people is also great prove of how great and good men can be...
