You can still smoke in dam! Possession of small quantities is decriminalised, meaning it's a non-criminal offence like a parking ticket. In practice, even the law against selling cannabis is not enforced in Amsterdam.

Haha what are all these people talking about, I live in Amsterdam and it's still legal here peeps. We are getting a new government though so it might become illegal in the next year but it's legal till at least july next year !

yes you can...theres physical addiction and mental addiction...you can have side effects of both from smoking weed...and if u dont personally have a physical addiction im sure u have a mental addiction. that means if u quit u would feel cravings and different as a whole. anything that changes your mental state can be addicting...hell im mentally addicted to ganja

@uberiballo cigarettes are phsyical u can feel the desire in your chest. like mental cravings are when it just soooounds reaaally good and u can like smell it and taste it when its nowhere around.

Sorry man, they are making it illegal now. They are changing the laws there. It used to be 18. Amsterdam is going conservative on everything....
