The level crossing is between the villages of Blackminster and Bretforton, east of Evesham. Very quiet lane to stop and watch trains.

What do you Englishmen mean by "level crossings"? Here in America, we just call them "crossings".

We call them level crossings because they are on a level road surface where a bridge is in practical to take the rails under or over the road.We do also call them crossings as well for short.Hope that helps you
