  • Every single modern comedian (or aspiring comedian) should watch this and marvel at the dialogue, the timing, the body movement, the pauses etc etc. An object lesson in what comedy is. Simply delightful.

  • This and the Andre Previn sketch are totally unmatchable by anyone. Pure genius.

  • "We've got to give him something."

"Well, give him a Get Well card and send home!"

    Love it!

  • I like him. Give him a get well card and send him home.

  • If you want me to be a goner, get me an LP by Des O'Connor.

  • @RichardElden That's three of you then.

  • Death O'Connor as the boys affectionately called him.

  • Its just brilliant that Des loved the "grief" they gave him. However, having these two great gentleman take the mickey out of you must have been a real honour anyway.

  • @RichardElden Three. Colour TV started in the UK a couple of years after BBC2 opened.

  • rosee2807.........if you had half there talent you would be a millionaire, but obviously not cos you can just about spell swear words!!!!!!!

  • @RichardElden Shut the fuck up

  • It doesn't get much better than this - brilliant comedy!
