ORS Racks Direct Presents the Thule Ski-Snowboard Rack Flush Mount Kit Video. This informational video explains how this conversion kit enables Thule ski racks-snowboard racks (including the Thule 92726, Universal Pull Top, 92725 Universal Flat Top, 92724 Universal Flat Top, older model 91725 etc.) to mount flush on roof rack cross bars with T-slot channels -- such as Thule AeroBlade load bars and Thule Rapid Aero bars, Whispbar Racks cross bars, Votex brand OEM car racks, all TracRac truck racks, Thule 422XT Xsporter truck rack cross bars and more. Using the Thule Ski Rack Flush Mount Adapter Kit to replace the regular mounting clamps included with Thule ski-snowboard carriers results in a much more premium, low-profile look.

  • @jayjayn good to go on the older model 725 model!

  • @stdenis25

Second, Aero bars are great and I would highly reccoomend using the rubber stripping Thule supplies to keep them as streamlined as possible. If you do this, you are forced to the leave the t bolts in the channel (sticking up into the wind) unless you want to remove the rubbing stripping each time put your snowboard carrier on.

just an FYI, not the end of the world, Overall I am happy.

  • @jayjayn drilled out the rivets and removed the old universal mounts. It works great on my new aero bars.

couple of things to note. Drilling out the old rivets is a pain because they are behind the rubber pads. the rubber pads are crimped in two different places to keep them from moving so they are not easy to move out of the way.

    see next comment.

  • @jayjayn will do, as long as have access to a drill I don't see why it wouldn't. The rivets will pop right out.

They havent shipped yet, probably because I ordered over Thanksgiving.

  • @stdenis25 pls post if it works, on the site it doesn't state if it will work on the older 725 model. thx

  • dude, thank you and thank youtube. I have been trying to figure out how to mount my old 725 to my new areo bars.

I am ordering one of these right now.

  • I invented a cargo carrying system that is aerodynamic to begin with. It's simplicity, strength and versatility are what people are looking for in a roof rack system. Check out the REV RACK on Youtube.
