  • Wow, what a performance. The pianoplayer is play his soul away.

  • @TheDJGrandPa That's right. These are the lyrics written by Jesse Stone (Charles E. Calhoun) and recorded by Big Joe Turner in 1954. Bill Haley recorded a cleaned-up version later that same year.

BTW, I have heard some truly rockin' fiddles, and I dig the kitten (and her outfit) in this number.

  • @captainzorikh pre-Bill Haley? Didn't Haley sing this in like... '55? and before that it was a Rhythm and Blues song

  • @promagnum

"Holy hell" phrase of the day xD

  • Who's the guitar player??

  • @promagnum That's Jimmy Pruett and what is more amazing: He is blind!

  • @ffairlane57 Or play trumpet to "blue Suede Shoes" on the same show!:-)

  • Bob Will's fiddle players did it for years!

  • the great snowman now i know what he looked like
