@LordDeathNote I agree with you on the fact that war is a means to control resources, that much is obvious. However I do think that when one nation is much stronger than the others it can be a deterrent to major conflict, which can be good. What matters is if the populace of the super power give a damn about other less fortunate nations and peoples. However most superpowers become superpowers due to a certain lack of respect for other nations. Regardless I think war can cause temporary stability

@echoandi I know, the song isn't even about being patriotic, The band is liberal and totally against the war, but people listen to the lyrics and automatically think it's a song about supporting the war.

War doesn't SPREAD*** justice or freedom, how could it spread something that doesn't exist anyway? War is, and always has been, nothing more than a way to control resources, whether those resources are human, minerals or territory it doesn't really matter.
You all need to wake up and realize, war has no positives, never has a war brought peace or stability anywhere EVER in history.
