Sounds Tough, great car the WH and quite cheap to buy these days, I prefer the WK with the updated interior, but what gets me is that in spite of weighing more than the commodores with LS1's in them the WH seems to go as fast. Good clip and I liked the inset showing the external long shot.

What sort of times will it run with a tune?? I use the caprice for a tow car for my HJ Tonna, so i still want it to be practical but a bit of extra poke will be fun!! Where are you guys??

WE tune them for $500 Basic Mafless, also for $3350 we install any cam, dual springs and a full mafless tune. The other mods are exhaust less than $2000 and an OTR $500.
The main things that give performance are 1. Tune 2. Cam

This car has just a small cam 212 218 115, short 4 into 1s,twin 2"1/4 into single 3" catback, over radiator intake, 25% underdriven balancer and Oztrack Tuning Mafless Tune. The cost of mods to a stock WH Statesman would be $5000 and its easily into the 12.8s. Give this car 3.73s diff gears and a 4000 stall converter and it would run in the 12.1-12.3s bracket. It is still as quiet to cruise in as a standard statesman and idles at 600rpm as smooth as a stocker.
