@tylerfabish Yes, the 383 and 400 big blocks have the same stroke as the 318 small block if i'm not mistaken. The rev fast, but put down awesome torque at low rpm all the way up over 6,000 rpm. Plus they get decent mileage compared to say, a 440 or 454/455.
Very nice! I'm rebuilding a 400 "B" for my '73 Fury right now, same family as your motor, same "small block stroke" in a big block package. They're my favorite big blocks, crazy revs.
