You should get a 50mm f1.8 lens, it's cheap and AWESOME !

It only takes photos. Doesn't take vids. I have a hd video camera for that. I'm more into taking photos than video though.

Thanks. I can't wait till I understand this camera better. Not used to DSLR cameras yet.
