just imagine what our people would be like without residential school, there would be a lot less violence and hate in our hearts, some of us still have that grudge. The things they done is very damaging and for some people, the scar will never heal.they cant give us that life we wouldve had. but we have to heal from it if we want to better ourselves, we must find a way to forgive them, and live a better life

@Northgrant the concept of owning land was a European idea that was brought over.

Another idea that was forced onto the Native people. Native peoples did not "own" the land, that is correct, instead they lived off the land, gave thanks for the land. They gave the land the value of a life, not the value of a dollar.
