I was a Freshman at another college around this time when the shootings happened. What these guys are saying about their roommate is exactly what I could say about mine, only he didn't shoot up my school. He was quiet, kept to himself, didn't want to socialize with anyone. We tried to be nice to him but he basically wanted nothing to do with us or anyone else. It's weird, there are people out there like this and then all of a sudden they snap.

@kilox10001 I'm not saying give inexperienced students guns, but if gun owners were allowed to carry guns on campus it wouldn't be a terrible thing. Responsible gun owners don't carry guns when they're drunk, they keep them at home locked up. And high school kids? Sure. In the 40's students could bring their rifles to school in northern states, and no one ever got shot. People who own guns practice gun safety, there are exceptions, but there are exceptions for every situation.

@JRzing I think they were trying to help - getting the cops to take him to a counceling center, warning their friends - you dont have any evidence that he knew about them saying these things about him.

I think the powder keg was the parents knowing their sun was sugffering and not doing anything about it. They ,as well as teachers and councelors confess they knew something was wrong for months - yet no one took responsibility.
