Just ignore the clinking of the needles on the tri-pod, I was a one girl camera crew and knitting instructor, all rolled into one!!!

thank you so much for this video. i wasn't understanding what part of the loop i was suppose to hook my needles under. your video was so great because you not only went slow and repeated each step slowly the whole time, but you switched up angles to show what exactly i'm suppose to be doing with my needles and yarn! i now can make my first row when i've been struggling for an hour only to have it keep unraveling! if i can only keep my casting from being loose i'd be all set to start my scarf! TY

Hi, I have a question. I get the basic steps of this stitch, but I always end up with huge gaps between my stitches. I don't get how you keep them evenly spaced.
