  • Very interesting interviews but there was something missing in the woman's story. So why did she have to keep deferring so many years later? Her degree wasn't enough to find any decent paying employment?

  • @poohxbear5 The problem is the degree itself. These schools offer little relative to a traditional college education. 

  • the debt IS scary, i can vouch for it. i went to ITT tech when i was 19 for ONE semester and that alone was about 5,000 dollars. I didn't have any credit history and i was given three different loans from the same corporation(Sallie Mae) with insane interest rates...but like most people i seriously thought i was going to get somewhere with that college.

    I stopped going cause they were mostly filler classes that didn't teach very much...community colleges probably taught better.

  • @RedLion502 I'm sorry you incurred any debt for what little education you may have gotten. it is a real problem. A real problem.
