2d MMORPG Merchant Seas

Merchant Seas is a 2d MMORPG that I've been working on while I finish college. There's a test version available at http://merchantseas.com/. The game is largely inspired by Uncharted Waters: New Horizons, and the gameplay is largely focused on trading, exploration, and investing in ports. Combat is in the works, but isn't in the current test version.

The music in this video is one of several tracks created exclusively for the game. The world graphics are freely available from http://www.rpg-palace.com/, but most everything else has been created by freelance artists for the game.

I sped up the movement clips a bit for the sake of the video, the ships don't move quite that fast in actual gameplay. For more info, screenshots, or to try out the test client, visit:
