I could be wrong but I think your dog is actually an American Bulldog(performance bred) from the scott line. great dog.

It's hard to tell at first, but then slowly you will be able to tell the difference. Anyhow, all American bulldogs have Pit Bull bred in them. It's just that the scott line or(performance bred)Bulldog is closer related and it is the main reason they are used for hunting. So it has to have the same characteristics as a Pit Bull;lean,solid,agile and fearless. Don't panic. You have a great dog. I wish I had him. Go to google images and type performance bred bulldog or scott line bulldog. Cheers!!

well u thought u had a pitbull but it wasnt cause pits are (suppose) and notice i said suppose to be lean muscular atheletic dogs not super huge steroidy dogs and they do have bg muscular heads but there heads shouldn look like giant concrete blocks thats not appealing makes them look retarded but the half wits who dont really kno 2 cents about the breed think thats what there suppose to look like im not calling you a half wit im just saying.

MY PIT BULL CAN BEAT YOUR PIT BULL AT CUDDDDDDLING ANY DAY OH AND KISSING AND TAIL WAGGING AND LOVING :) Mine trains every day at those things and he has it down to a science :) PIT BULLS ARE FOR LOVING NOT FIGHTING. Actually through DNA availability for animals now it's easy to know if one is mixed for IDIOTS WHO NEED TO DIE THAT FIGHT THEM WHO CROSS BRED THEM. The true pit that is UKC should weigh no more than 65lbs for a male and the length from shoulder and such is on the sight as well (sorry can't remember that one) I measured my baby and he weighs exactly 65 lbs but I forget his measurements. Why own Pits if u use to fight them sorry I'm not being rude I'm just well disguisted. Mine trains to cuddle:)

but at the same time u gotta remember there are different pitbull breeds like the kobe or gatti that are very stocky, it all really matters how u like your pit to look like so it does matter what kinda pit you get

I used to have one called BJ looked almost identical to yours, beautiful big dogs and friendly too.
