  • Is all the overdrive coming from the amp? I thought Reeves were super clean until really cranked, or is it the power scaling which helps to drive the power stage and get that break up?

    The overdrive was not created by a pedal. It was generated by cranking the volume control, keeping the drive knob (essentially a master volume control) at about 11:00 and setting the power scale at at about 9:00 (i.e. a lot of scaling). The rest of the dynamic control comes from manipulating the SG's volume control.

  • @SuperSoulDrummer - take a look at the neck in the video. Note how skinny it is, width-wise, at the neck.

  • Why do you say they are hard to play? I have an Ibanez SG Custom, the most easy guitar to play in my opinion. Are there differences?
