He won't play this year, He's coming off a dislocated elboe injury, its still giving him a little trouble. Besides, that have 3/1000 yard recievers coming back and they have at least 12 receivers on the roster, so he has a fight on his hands to even get PT.

@hookemhorns25 Why all the UT arrogance? I am a UH grad and proud of it. UT is a great school as well, I was about to be a longhorn (got accepted into the engineering school and went to orientation) but decided to stay back at home after my father passed away my senior year. They're both great schools, I don't understand why there is so much animosity. You guys are on another level in terms of athletics right now mostly because you are the richest athletic department in the nation.

The term Cougar High is a reflection of the awful school, it's academically weak standards, and how easy it is. It has nothing to do with racism. I know you would like to couch it those terms because then the poor slob you use it on has been plastered with the indefensible race card.

Cougar High is called Cougar High because it is a glorified commuter community college. A fourth tier one at that.

I understand why you do not get the reference. Cougar High was a term originated by an Austin sportswriter in the 60's because UH had the audacity to recruit black atheletes.

More and more vitriolic anger arose form the UT and AM alums when UH won the SWC titles in the first 2 years in conference. How dare these blue collar(poor white kids and minorities) beat the chosen schools of the state?
