  • 1:31 - 1:33 ... Bryn is simply Don Giovanni. The initial look of pure frustration, and then the sudden softening of his expression and sweet tenderness to his voice...he is an incredibly talented man!

  • Miss Hong is sublime in the role, and I am more interested in the 'colour' of her voice than her skin! Secondly, Bryn Terfel is not fat, he's a strapping Welshman! But I am glad that was an apple he had, not a banana! LOL!

  • I dont start crying for a lot of things in the world. But here i had to...

  • @suzannesadiiqa Is there nothing else you can find to criticize about MIss Hong! The rolled R's are quite normal in Italian and singers like Cecilia Bartoli do it!

  • Sketchy.

  • This is a memorable version! Bryn is fantastic!

  • An amazing interpretation! They are both marvelous! The acting is amazing,

and she sings like an angel

I especially Like the part in 2:13 - 2:23 She does it so well, the surrender

  • Very nice, but for sheer seduction I prefer the Samuel Ramy, Dawn Upshaw production....

Miss Hong is a bit over the to with her rolling R's............

  • Both are fantastic, but Hong gave me goosebumps

  • I couldn't count how many times I had goosebumps from beginning to the end

  • In der letzten Woche habe ich Bryn Terfel noch als Leporello gehört und gesehen, aber ich#

muss sagen, als Don Giovanno gefällt er mir fast noch besser.

  • Hei-Kyung Hong is one of the few remaining treasures to be seen on the Met's stage.
