I had this exact problem with my 1990 Integra. Can't remember what we did to fix it but that car is long gone.

@YoJoeEX96 i dont know if you have figured it out but the tps is right by the air filter hose which goes into the intake manifold. i have a 95 accord and its right in back. hopefully this helps

fast idle valve under throttle body. completely disassemble it and clean it. the main screw which is about an inch in diameter turn it about a quarter turn out.

@QSideProductions or iac valve. clean it up, run fuel injector cleaner and do a tune up. it'll run like new.

You have a vacuum leak somewheres.
i bet it was just your vacume line, sounds just like that when your adding seafoam

@Legoman0323 yes, disconnecting a vaccum line does make the car sound similar to this, but the iacv was the problem...it was clogged

does anybody know how to reset the ECU ?
mrslideinsideu2 1 year ago
@mrslideinsideu2 The IACV in behind the Intake Manifold near the throttle body, there should be two coolant lines connect to the bottom of it.....the ECU can be reset if u disconnect the battery
