It reminds me a little of Freddie Tavares Blue Hawaii with the Polynesians.
Do you have Freddies Album from the late 50s produced by Bud Dante??
If so its very nice if you can put it on your channel.
Thanks

Thanks, the analysis was made easy by the fact that his first and second strings had a "Whine" at the bridge but of differing tonalities.
The blocking was "The Hawaiian Way" .. that's lifting the bar but damping behind it (A rocking motion) as well as using the bar "Pen Position" and also pick blocking. I will eventually get 'round to posting a video demonstrating those techniques in depth.

Very nice analysis. Are you palm blocking Basilh?

Barney's version of the C6th was actually the C13th. E-C-A-G-E-C-Bb-C and the B11. E-C#-A-F#-D#-B-A-B
Very nice as always. I have a couple questions about your guitar though. How do you get that dreamy hawaiin sound. And also, how many of your strings are wound?
Thanks very much in advance.

Thanks Mac, the "Dreamy Hawaiian Sound" is built into my hands. And the wound strings on each neck are 5 through 8, with strings 1 to 4 being plain.

@basilhenriques Well I mean you must be using a bit of reverb and maybe some other and things and thats what I was wondering about. Clearly you have you technique down solid but I am wondering about what other electronic extras are going on.
Thanks

@basilhenriques Excellent reply thank you very much! This sounds great for a micro cube. Are you fairly happy with it and do you mostly use that and just mic it for performances?

Thanks Mac, for live performances like the ones of myself and Pat on YouTube, I usually use a Peavey Profex II straight into a small Yamaha PA (Stagepas 300) Pat uses her Hofner Jazzica through an AER Compact 60. We would never use any more equipment than that.
