@sweettrt this june 22 2011 will be 5 years since my mom passed , she was only 66 . we shared the love for bette midler, in fact mom chose the wind beneath my wings for her funeral . sometime after mom died I ran into this song, I'd never heard it before. I'm glad you were able to sing to her, I know that must be a wonderful memorie for you :)

Buster, you are such a doll to have done this tribute to your mother. It's a reflection both on you AND her. My mom was my best friend too, and OMG, I miss her. And oh, how she loved Bette, which is why, for so many reasons, I can't hear this song without crying. Thanks for posting it, kid!
