@FavreianVengeance, power and wealth that FAR exceeds anything Capone ever amassed, even accounting for inflation. It's the horrifically misguided and ignorant policies of the U.S Government that have made the crime syndicates and street gangs the way they are today. Pushing around minorities the way we have, I mean, it's only been 40 years since we started even beginning to treat blacks fairly, and look at how we treat mexicans and arabs who are American Citizens today! The problem is complex

They were just as likely to shoot you with a over-and-under shotgun, a 1911, or a Thompson as you're likely to get shot with a Beretta 92FS 9mm, or Glock 17, or Glock 19 today. Well, per capita, and then it's still arguable, because the War on Drugs (what a joke) has made crime much, much worse. Criminalizing huge portions of the population, creating huge underground markets for guns, drugs, and power and wealth
