  • Technically, they aren't nazis. The nazis rose to power from the ashes of the defeated Kaiser Germany (and the collapsed economy therein). In Tannhäuser, WW1 never ended, so it's still Kaiser Germany.

  • You know what?

There were other stories about the Nazi's, paranormal activity and weird experiments before Wolfenstein...

Even the Frelling Indiana Jones movies were about Nazi's and their odd predilection for occult/scientific artifacts.

Can we start having a look around before making blanket statements like that?

Youtube is the equivalent of being in a room full of inept 5 year olds who all think they can create a Unified Field Theory...

    It's painful.

  • @TerminalViscosity Actually the first reports of Hitlers obsession with the Occult was reported as early as 43

  • I hate that the narrator severly miss pronounces several German words. For example, the very title of the game should be pronounced Tann (with o as in on) and Haeuser (with Hoy as in soy sauce). The umlaut on the a dictates how it should be prounced and they've been saying it wrong. so annoying.

  • @TerminalViscosity

There were stories about the Nazis and the occult long before any of those fictions...

  • @TerminalViscosity Ah, this made me laugh. Kudos good sir, kudos. Unified Field Theory hahahaha And I love Wolfenstein.

  • And by the way: NO Nazis in this game.

As jurgernaut said correctly, the NSDAP arose after WW1 (1920) as a reaction to the lost war.

  • Why is it allways the same?

They did the same mistake as Command and Conquer: Red Alert, using the wrong map for the background.

This is a map of today's Europe not one of WW1.

Is it really so hard to find a map of Europe in the years of 1914-1918, which would suit better for this setting?

  • @LadyRoughneck By 1949 there would have been a lot of dead SS men in Hell. It would cut down on the need for Nazi indoctrination.

  • @TheRedLuigi True, Anglo-saxons still rule the world.

Although Germans make very intriguing villains don't you think?

  • Oh look. the german are teh bad ones again ^^

  • LOVE THIS GAME!!!! DOES anyone know how to make your own Characters?? How do you get the stats?
