2008 WAG Olympic Team. Worlds Apart

well my hard drive crashed. I've sent it to 2 different places to get it fixed with no success. The only other place I can try will charge me $1600 to fix it and (no offense) but it's nowhere near worth it. I have no desire to reupload my footage and music and everything else I use to edit, so this will be my last montage ever. I thought this song was appropriate for my situation. Thanks for going on this journey with me. It was a great ride :)


***Just kidding! I couldn't stay away from montages so I am working on reuploading my favorite footage but I'll just stick to new footage now :) No use reuploading a bunch of old footage anyways. Thanks for your support. it's comments on this montage that made it impossible for me to quit. The support and gratitude you've all shown me means more than anything else. I'll keep giving you montages until my fingers fall off :) Love you all!!!

cant you just get a new computer i have one that only costs 2 thosand that i am using right now

@NastiaCarlyFan it's not a computer... it's an external hard drive. To fix it it'll cost $1600 not 2 thousand... so why would I buy a more expensive computer? And it didn't "crash" it broke. My brother dropped it and it broke a piece off inside the external hard drive. I can't get a new one cause it's not worth it since I still wouldn't have any footage or anything that was on the drive...

Thank you all so much! I really appreciate the support. Just to be clear- it was an external hard drive that broke not my computer. I wish it would have been the computer cause that would be easier to fix. There's a piece in the machine that broke off and to fix that piece it's $1600. I have tried numerous ways but it's definately over. Sorry :(

Have you tried hooking up your hard drive as a slave drive to another computer and running recovery software on it?

Nope cause it won't even turn on. Something broke inside the drive so the only thing we can do is replace some part that costs $1600. We've sent it to the tech guys at my dads work and to best buy but only the maker (seagate) can repair the drive because they make it n they have the part...
