Beautiful harmony. I LOVE Hank's songs with added harmony. That is my favorite thing in life to do....sing along in harmony with Hank. RIP 60 yrs in 363 days. :'-(

I have always gotten so much out of this song. It has so much meaning and isnt necessarily restricted to a love affair. It could be applied to lifes circumstances at the time as well. Ive heard many times over songs have a special meaning to the writer. David Gates (Bread) proved that with his song "Everything I Own" a 70's love song that he actually wrote for his father, who had died earlier.
