Great Disney song recorded in 1960, rarely mentioned and rarely heard. The oldies DJ's of today need to take a look at YouTube to see what is out there besides becoming cookiecutter stations playing nothing but limited recordings.
Speaking of oldies.......i have a oldies show on my facebook page called Johnny's Jukebox.........go check it out.........look in facebook under john christeson
tell dioni said hello been a fan sunce 1961 love this song love all dion and the belmonts and his solo singles with the del satins take care john terlizzi, little egg harbor nj
Dion, who is a close friend of mine recorded this in the style of a more upbeat and hip tempo of the time, the original recording is in fact a timeless classic, like I said,it was done in the 50's and early 60's style, back then we referred to music like this as "Romantic Rock"n"Roll",back then we did The Stroll,The Bop,and just plain old fashioned Slow Dancing,up close, and very romantic.Sincerely,The Original Chevelles,Chuck Bruni.
@internetisgood The similarity of Surfer Girl thoughout the song is quite apparent in this song.

I enjoyed your story. Memories are so important, especially as we enter the second half.
