Great video, i just want to know why they left out Vinne?? He's just as much of a great as all these guys if not more!!!! Anywho, this session is great. I have all of these guys on my iphone, and all are amazing!!!

They (or for that matter, a lot of established studio musicians) can do this "lite funk" stuff in their dreams and hands tied...but it's still an in-the-pocket performance. And remember, Ramsey Lewis himself had some very, very commercial LP's out in the '70's...

Why don't they mention that Vinnie's playing with them? He's just as much of a legend as the other three.

Accolades (or lack thereof) aside, this is an awesome performance. It's not edgy stuff by any stretch of the imagination but these four are such tight musicians that you can't help but dig it.
