Alonso: McLaren never favoured Lewis
He said: "We have had our ups and downs during the season, which has made it extra challenging for all of us, and it is not a secret that I never really felt at home.
"I know there have been suggestions of favouritism within the team and people say a lot of things in the heat of battle, but in the end I was always provided with an equal opportunity to win."

There you go. In Formula One, you don't have control of everything that happens. The fact is that Hamilton outdrove Alonso and got more wins, in his rookie season.

People forget Alonso was screwed by Mclaren! Also Alonso beat Hamilton in Australia, Malaysia, Monaco, Silverstone, Nurburgring, Turkey, Monza, Spa, China and Brazil. If it wasn't for the 5 grid slot penalty at Hungary Alonso would of beat Shamilton there, In Spain Alonso was faster but tangled with Massa led to a broken car, same thing happened at Montreal, Indy was evenly matched, but a better strategy won for Shamilton.

Yes Lewis had a two time world champion who strugled to match his pace, if the team would have focused on him he would be champion. No doubt Kimi deserves it but I think Lewis has the edge on Fernando and is a brilliant driver and its your own racism that prevents you from giving him his due credit. He might win this year but it will be tough.
