Average Black IQ Score is 85? What Does IQ Scores Represent?

I scored a 84 and 87 on my I.Q test I took 2. What does I.Q scores really represent? Does it really represent someones overall level of intellect and why do blacks have the lowest average I.Q score of all races?

Do "they" set blacks up to fail? I'm guessing "they" is white people? You look at the world thru "race glasses" dude. I had no idea the average white persons IQ was 105 or the average black persons IQ was 85 and I really don't give a shit. You obviously do. Treat each person you meet in life as an individual not a 'insert race' individual. Stop looking for excuses and get on with your life. You seem like a very capable individual and your obviously not dumb. Its a shame you obsess about race.

I dont think its the ultimate measure of intelligence. things like autism, concentration problems, anxiety etc can cause poor performance. Also they do require some education because at the end they use maths and words which are taught things.

@groovygower yea, i agree due to them having the need for technology they created it. I wasn't by any means saying that a more intelligent civilization advanced before others, I was saying because they advanced they became more intelligent. After all every race is connected by a common ancestor and thus, where at one time, exactly the same, but due to climate and resources they began to develop differently in different areas, which could lead to differences physically as well as mentally.

@ReckRolls I'd say that the cultures that advanced quicker are because they had a need to, in hot countries where food is plentiful there was less pressure to advance.

Well we have to remember IQ doesn't mean hard work nor does it necessarily mean ingenuity. Both hard work and ingenuity could be the reason some of the people with lower IQs sometimes get higher grades. Intelligence is a measure of how quickly we're able to process a thought. My score was a 136 by the way.

Also, on the note as to race diversity in scores, I would assume scores correspond in accordance to how soon a race developed tools and a working civilization. Just my thoughts though.
