Ticketmaster plans to introduce technology enabling artists and sports teams to raise or lower ticket prices depending on demand. If it's good for concerts and sports events, why not films at theaters?

in a movie theatre at my hometown here in Taiwan it's about $5 USD for two movies. Yes, TWO movies. They're new Hollywood releases too, most have the same premiere dates as US showings. It is a bargain, plus outside food is allowed.
In large city like Taipei it's quite bit more expensive, around $8 USD for one movie, still slightly less than USA movie ticket.

Any tickets now days are way, WAY over priced. No wonder people are stealing movies online. I will not pay more then 5$ for any movie and 30$ for live concert. If Barneke prints some money directly for me, then I might reconsider.
