  • It grinds field (dent) corn just fine. I set it a little past medium towards coarse and it made great corn bread. Still a little gritty with some finer flour, it worked great.

    I'll try a coarse grind to see what I get and if I can do Polenta with it.

    Field/Dent Corn is NOT popcorn.

  • I have this same mill...I love it! I've had it about 4 years now and it's still going strong.

    If you close the lid it helps to damper the sound. You can also start and stop it with grains inside the hopper.

    I just bought 25 pounds of field (dent) corn to grind. It will be my first time using corn in it. I've heard fresh ground corn for making cornbread has no comparison, it's that good. I will test it and see.

  • The "manual" said you can grind table corn (what ever that is) but not popcorn.

  • @ElCalamardito I'm sure it could.

  • somebody knows if can it be used with corn grains?
