It shouldn't be that mindfuck. After all, Link, or, the Zelda concept IS japanese.
I thought the voice suited her, actually. I understood quite fast that she wasn't saying what the subs said, because I know a tinzy winzy bit of japanese, but this made me realize how sad I think it is that they don't speak during cutscenes and all that.
