Its a Shame that the Palace is this condition. Just horrible. I heard it was getting renovated. I hope so. It is sad to see this treasure go down and falling apart.

@Tonyo1221 It was the Alexander Palace where Nicholas II & his family were placed under house arrest during the Russian Revolution of 1917.

So there's 2 palaces? The Winter palace and the Alexander palace? Which palace were the family arrested and held captive in?

Wow...um. I disagree for the mere fact that the family relied on him to care for their suffering son. Regardless of whether or not he was working miracles of God or simply hypnotizing the boy out of his pain, politics aside, he did some good for the family and all people deserve to have a marker to the place they are laid to rest.

The Alexander Palace was Czar Nicholas' II favorite residence. The Czar preferred this palace over any other palace.

Thank you for the video. Tsarskoe Selo is one place I have always wanted to go, and have never made it yet. It is sad though, to see the Alexander in such disrepair. It is one of Russia's great historical treasures;the government should invest in its maintenance.

This building was the Nicholos 11 number one
residence...I would love to see it...thank you for the video. This would be a huge attraction for we history buffs...come on Russia fix it up...and LOOSEN UP...think tourism. Use your heads for a change.
