  • @rivercityfurniture The best way to show a goat to someone: On a plate, wrapped in a pita, and cover with tzatziki sauce. Served with a generous helping of tomatoes on top and french fries on the side. Halter optional, of course.

  • I have judged more goat shows than you have probably seen. They do have them in other states. Dragging a goat with a halter is probably the worst way to start a goat there is. If you cannot handle a goat without a halter you probably should not show it.

  • @rivercityfurniture Apparently you do not know the rules for the stock shows in Texas. You are allowed to use a halter, but the leash lengh has to be short. He's also saying "to get started you can put a halter on him" if you don't like what he said, use a chain. Don't bring your stupinity here because I can tell you do not know what your talking about.

  • You do not show goats with halters. They are just a crutch for people who cannot handle goats.

  • It would also have been nice to see an actual training session. She looks very well trained, which is awesome, but it would have been nice to see an example of what it looks like and how to deal with it when they're not behaving. I've heard goats are all about body language. We used to keep and train horses, but it's really not the same, if you don't know what the animal's saying to you. (I tried to shoo a cow like I would have a horse once- that didn't work out too well. :p)

  • @AkatsukiWolf123 if he leds ok on a choke chain then dont worrie about the halter way if you dont use a halter then your sol
