The Stokesley Charity Cycle Ride started in 1998 when Paul Mackintosh "volunteered" to "do a bike ride" for a two and a half year old girl called Chloe Brown who was suffering from a very rare form of cancer. Her grandparents, Des and Hazel Brown, wrote to Paul thanking him for agreeing to organise a charity bike ride. The rest they say is history. A different charity has been selected for each of the ten years that the event has been organised and overall a total of over £63,000 has been raised.
It's a good thing that just won't go away!:)

A very good overall picture of what the Stokesley Annual Charity ride is all about, great companionship, great support to each other AND a lot of money to worthwhile LOCAL charities.
This video says it all. Excellent work.
