ya 30hp either way my svt Contour with 200hp cant beat a 5.0 with a good driver but the probe very wel could have beat it like that probe was striped tuned and some shit i like the NOS bottle in the back also hahah but yea stock sn95 with them long stock gear i believe it now do 3.73 and that results will flip

I think what most of the commenting folks aren't considering is you can rebuild that 302 and stroke it out(no replacement for displacement)... 4:10s gears with a racing tranny. That mustang woulda got all nasty on that probe and it woulda been lights out. I have a 94 5.0 it has alot of mods which were cost effective that are minor in the serious racing world. It will run low 13s all day with a stock gear and a T5 that's going out.

@hinalover1 That's just the way it sounds, i had a mx6 KLZE and those things are noisy at high RPM'S even if it has a stock exhaust

@ChaChi3love yeah they have 220 crank hp... and what 150 torque? i love how you fail to mention that part. It may beat that 95 but it wont beat the slow ass 96-98s. ask me how i know?

@CrazzyJ88 buddy no offence the 95 even 5.0 was no killer a low 15 second car at best 10 h.p more than a 96 4.6.99 to 04 is much better ,i had an 01 convertible put 3.73 gears and a catback and ran 13.8 at 103.5 mph not too bad, now i drive an 07 c6 z06 it flies.
