Performance E36ers can start with a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. It can add up to 11HP for only about $150 and installs in 30-45 minutes - really a must for every E36 owner. It also makes the car HOWL at high end but sounds normal at everyday driving. See my videos!

The EU has difrent intake manifold
First reaction was is this a 2.5 or 2.8? no real M3 engine guys

Uh, tell me something I don't know.
This is physics. Laminar flow > High velocity of air = turbulence. It would also cause transitional flow because of the obstruction (HFM sensor) causing the air to create back pressure.

u mean the TURBULANCE ?!
Air velocity is the SAME upstream of the turbo as it is downstream of it.

yes I can read.. but maybe I didn´t note the "US". I worked 4 years by BMW and thought that the S52B32, which has 2x Vanos and single-throttle-valves, was also used in USA :P This Version has only 1xVAnos and a Intake-Manifold with only one Throttle-Valve... But thank you for the advice. Greetz David

Guys, a US M3 is different from EU M3.
The US M3 looks like a M50/M52 but with 3.0 and 3.2ccm

This is correct. The US spec M3 engines are basically identical to the M50/52. We are not so lucky as to have the ITBs from the factory on our US E36 M3 :(
