Gerard's comment about being up really late at night and finally getting your ideas to work into a cohesive element and there is that line that you cross, It is one of the most apt descriptions of this feeling ive ever heard, i love it.

@ffantasia24 ...... you know, he kind of doesn't have control on how everyone wants to treat him. They just do it, and he's forced to play along. It's not his fault, it's the fuckers who made it's fault. Knowing Gerard, he usually would write his own name, because first, it's cool, and second, he's not that much of a lazy person. =) But you're right, he can be a little self centered.
