The SIG556 Rifle reviewed by American Rifleman.
SIG556® No other semi-automatic rifle has captured the imagination of the shooting public like the SG550 series rifle. For years this legendary Swiss made rifle has been restricted to law enforcement and military sales where it has continuously built on its reputation for outstanding performance, accuracy and durability. SIG SAUER® offers the U.S. produced version as the SIG556, which is available to the general consumer and law enforcement markets. The SIG556 features the same high-performance two position adjustable gas piston operating rod system engineered by SIGs sister company Swiss Arms and marries it to a trigger housing that not only cuts the rifles weight by a pound but is designed to accept standard AR magazines.

  • @guitarheromomma I know, I own one and you CANNOT push forward on the charging handle. You pull BACK then let go to release the bolt on the SIG556. I am about to make a video to end this

  • The music sounds like a porno-type music. Terrible.

  • @p99fanatic its kinda 1500 bucks :)

  • it looks kinda cheap

  • i ve got the sig 550, pretty much fun with this guns .:D

  • True. I have one.

  • The 556 doesnt have a forward assist unlike the AR platform, it doesnt need it bc its that reliable.

  • The charging handle is the part on the bolt that is use to load it before you start firing. It locks back woth an empty clip and you can push forward on it to make it load a new cartridge.

  • Do you have a SWAT or a civilian model?

  • Well THIS guy is smoking crack because there is not a forward assist. Just a charging handle and a bolt stop on the left side. I should know I have a 556
