No, you can't. The very common "empty world" glitch. You go against something, you go into it, and it's empty inside and you can also see the outside.
It'd be pretty sweet if you could land on it and take a ride on it... but I guess little "WoW-Killer" here (*snickers*) worried so much on "looking pretty" that it didn't even fix the obvious flaws.
Great game, horrible gameplay. If you want an HONEST, UNBIASED opinion, here's mine. If you're swimming in money, play it. If not, don't even bother.

on a serious note the graphics are amazing and seeing that whale fly around made me say "can the 22 of September come any sooner"

in the trialer, there's an underwater clip with mobs and detail environment. i think you'll be able to swim
This is awesome man, preordered mine and can't wait for it to come! Can you swim in game? Or just walk into the water a bit. I think saw some mobs in the water. D:

There's currently no swimming in game. If you go too deep in water you begin to take damage until you head back to shore.

I walked in to my local Gamestop to pre order it, and walked out with a Beta Key.
Some Gamestops may still be giving them out.

If you pre order it from Gamestop they will give you a Beta key for Instant Beta access.
